Date of Travel: Nov 2007 Flying from: Hong Kong International Airport Flying to: London Gatwick Airport Class: Business Recommended: No Submitted By: Martin Webber Comments: Business Class HKG-LGW 05.11.07 - flight delayed by 12 hours. No overnight accommodation was offered and I was told to contact Customer Services on return to UK if I wished to complain. This I did. Customer Services totally ignored several emails but eventually sent a one-line reply saying that no compensation would be paid for the delay. I wrote direct to Customer Relations in Hong Kong (six weeks ago) but they have ignored my letter. Overall a very negative experience. I was a regular customer but will now change airlines.

Date of Travel: Nov 2006 Flying from: London Gatwick Airport Flying to: Hong Kong International Airport Class: Economy Recommended: Yes Submitted By: Tac Comments: Oasis Hong Kong have only been up and running for a few months now and I have trialled and tested it and I found them to be as on time and reliable and any other airline.
Previously a loyal Virgin Atlantic customer, but seeing a cheap budget no frills airline and only 75 one way attracted my attention immediately.
I booked online, very efficient, and everything done over emails.
My return flight was cancelled but quickly rescheduled for the next day. I hope they don\'t normally cancel flights, and hopefully they contact there customers via other means instead of just emails.
For me this was fine and perfectly ok as this was not a business trip.
Because they are still a new business, it\'s ok for now that they have minor blips in the service. Hopefully will improve with time.
The outbound and inbound flights were not full, about 80% I would estimate, so therefore you had more space and toilet time. Entertainment is so so. You get two meals per journey and water, any other foods and drinks you have to pay, but still relatively cheap.
My outbound trip was great, I had the largest seat which is the one facing the wall, lots of leg room. For Exit seats they told me it would be an extra 60 gbp, so obviously I said nope. Service was perfect all the way and the journey actually took only 12.5 hours which really felt like 10 hours.
My inbound flight was great too as this was an early morning 1am departure. Not many on the plane and therefore I could lay down over 2 chairs and space to spread my legs. Again, service was great.
Since the plane lands in Gatwick, it’s very convenient, as its only 10gbp to London bridge (central London) takes about 20mins by train.
Highly recommended for those who travel regularly and are use to budget airlines. First time for me to fly on a budget airline and certainly I will go back to them as long as they are as cheap as they are.
I am not sure how the other airlines are going to compete but that\'s there problem.
I normally fly with Virgin Atlantic, but instead I saved about 180gbp by flying with Oasis Hong Kong.
Hope they do more of these direct flights to other big cities, especially New York, Japan, etc.
